Do You Remember Her?

Long time no post. This is made sense as audiovisual contents are emerging recently and blogs are slowly declined but still thriving. During this time author focused on TikTok and YouTube where she posts daily. There are many videos which made by her. Author is quite popular on TikTok, but not so on YouTube.

This time we would remember somebody. Who is she? If you’re a Visioneer, you should know her. She’s Rie Pedersen, a Danish influencer and celebrity who’s author’s friend. She based on Danish pro cyclist who is author’s favorite, Mads Pedersen. Rie debuted in 2015 and went full time since 2017.

First time met Rie, author was already aware with the Danes. In early days as an idol, Rie was already dyeing her hair because she hates her natural hair color which is dark brown as well as putting colored contact lenses because she also hate her natural eye color which is dark yellowish brown.

From 2015-2016, Rie had mahogany hair color. Then in 2017-2020, she had dark golden blonde hair. Since 2021, she had light auburn hair. Since debut, she always wear various shades of green color contact lenses. She always appeared with dyed hair and colored contact lenses.

We met Rie again in autumn after break due to being off-season on pro cycling and other summer sports. Rie is on dyed light auburn hair on Visioneer realm, but on ZEPETO realm, she has her natural hair color, but still wearing colored contact lenses because she still hate her natural eye color and eye color change surgery isn’t fully legal.

On ZEPETO, Rie appeared on 20 tarot cards. There were 20 tarot cards which represent 10 good traits and 10 bad traits. She did well on tarot pictures. We love her tarot poses.

Eight Natural Friends

After Tour de France finished and a Dane winning 2022 edition, Hana Planckaert made a blogpost again. This time involving Danes as the we’re obsessed with Denmark and Danish things. Actually we’ve been idolizing Danes for a long time, it should be more than 15 years. However, our interest on Danish figures was very weak in early years due to following winter sports which were our earliest interests. We started to liking Danes since early 2010s while following road cycling which has several Danes on pro cycling. Since following road cycling, we became accustomed with Denmark and Danish things. Years after following road cycling, Denmark became one of the most favorite countries for us.

The reasons we love Danish figures are they’re attractive, beautiful, interesting, gorgeous and charismatic. We always admire Danes within physical appearances and personalities. However, there are Danes who are skillful like time trial abilities. We still value skills and personalities despite sometimes overly admiring physical appearances mainly face. Danes on pro cycling are reminding us with Finnish auto sport racers. Unlike Finns, Danes have more diverse traits because they have more varied genes. For us, Danes aside with Norwegians and Swedes have more diverse traits, from hair color to charismas.

How do we like Danes? Actually we’ve been liking Danes since early age. When we were younger, we admired musicians, actors, football players and badminton players. Then we moved into various sports and entertainment, but most of them have few even no Danes. One day, when we watched biathlon, we thought that Denmark would be appeared there, however we were wrong on predicting because on biathlon competition, there was Greenland, an autonomous region of Denmark. We also thought that biathlon would have ethnic Danes, but we were wrong again, athletes on these sports are Greenlandic Inuit, an ethnicity which belongs to Inuit group who lived in Greenland island. We were disappointed because there are no ethnic Danes on biathlon and skiing-related sports. The Greenlandic competitors had Danish surnames but still retaining ethnic Inuit given names. The appearances of the Greenlanders are similar with East Asians, unlike ethnic Danes who belong to Nordic sub-race.

Because of mistaking Greenlanders as Danes, we vowed to find more “ethnic” people on various sports and entertainment. This things were applied for all nationalities in Europe, Asia and Africa. However, we were still respect ethnic diversity in various countries. We prefer real “ethnic” people on sports and entertainment field but other ethnicities in one country are still recognized. We were forced to holding onto Greenlanders who represented Denmark and Greenland while following winter sports.

Few years later, while we started to follow road cycling, we were amused because there are many ethnic Danes on pro cycling. Since following road cycling, we became accustomed with Danish things and of course ethnic Danes. Pro cycling has many Danes, there are more than 20 Danes who are competing on road cycling first division and many more on second and third divisions. Because of many Danes existed on pro cycling, we were overjoyed to see ethnic Danes on various sports, mainly Olympic sports. Pro cycling made us admiring ethnic Danes more frequent than on other sports even entertainment.

In early years of pro cycling, we didn’t admire Danish cyclists so much because we preferred cyclists from Western and Southern Europe. Then we admired several Danish cyclists from different teams and it occurred more often as the time goes. We became “addicted” with Danish cyclists since mid 2010s when many Danish pro cyclists rising. This thing became more pronounced since late 2010s when Denmark has more than 20 pro cyclists on first division.

After a Dane winning 2022 Tour de France, we became obsessed with Denmark and Danish things. For us, Denmark is clearly our most favorite Scandinavian country. We would prefer Denmark to Norway or Sweden, but not always as we would change our interests and minds. We would scream every time hearing and seeing Denmark and Danish things.

We have eight Danish friends who are come to our place to celebrate the Danish victory on pro cycling. They’re Lene Juul-Jensen, Fie Cort Nielsen, Hanne Asgreen, Rie Pedersen, Sofie Vingegaard, Pernille Honore, Dorthe Kron and Rikke Bjerg. They come with their natural hair colors and eye colors, accompanied with formal attires which colors taken from Danish flag and also minimal makeup.

The reasons they wear such things are they have hair color and color lenses removal ceremony, formal events for idols and meeting important people. At such events, they have to remove their colored hair and eyes due to conforming on old rules which set for decades. The rules of the events were existed before they were born and dyeing their hair plus putting color lenses.

While they attending the ceremony, they were crying because they have to miss their iconic hair and eye colors for a while. Most people are cried but Fie Cort Nielsen who is natural blonde and blue eyes is not crying because she has already fulfilled standard Nordic race traits. The hard hit people are Rie Pedersen and Pernille Honore because they have to leave their iconic bright hair and bright eyes behind for the event.

From this event we learned to value our natural physical traits and follow body positivity and body neutrality movements. This thing is very crucial because many idols are coloring their hairs and eyes because most of them don’t really like their natural hair and eye colors. People with dark hair and eyes from various Caucasoid sub-races especially Nordic sub-race are very insecure with their traits, so they change their hair and eye colors into lighter and brighter colors.

Who are attending hair and eye color removal ceremony?

Lene Juul Jensen, she removes her dark orange hair which has been around since 2016. She cried a lot while her natural hair which is dark brown appeared after years of hair coloring.

Hanne Asgreen, she removes her khaki hair which has been around since 2018. She cried loudly because she missed her favorite hair color so much and has to show natural dark brown hair.

Rie Pedersen, she removes her light golden beige hair which has been around since 2021 plus her bright green lenses. She cried very loud and almost can’t speak due to appearance of her natural dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.

Sofie Vingegaard, she removes her platinum blonde hair which has been around since 2016. She cried quite loud and vomited at the restroom with her natural medium light brown hair.

Pernille Honore, she removes her neon green hair which has been around since 2019 plus her pale blue lenses. She cried loudly because she has to show her natural medium brown hair and dark grey eyes.

Dorthe Kron, she removes her medium golden blonde hair which has been around since 2021 plus her light green lenses. She cried very loud and struggling to breathe because she show off her natural medium brown hair and dark brown or green eyes.

Rikke Bjerg, she removes her light beige hair which has been around since 2018. She cried quite loud and almost vomited plus unable to speak because she had her natural dark medium brown hair again.

I Didn’t Realize that They’re German

Recently, we realized that many Afrikaner surnames are originating from Germany. Previously, we thought that most, if not all Afrikaner surnames are originating from Low Countries, especially the Netherlands. However, many surnames that considered Dutch are actually German. This because of presence of Germans during VOC period while VOC sent Germans to Cape Colony, present South Africa. The reasons of Germans existed on VOC because of economic hardship in Germany. Thus, the Germans joined VOC for better economic prospect. Because of VOC and migration, many German surnames existed in South Africa which are survived until present.

The mistaken surnames are often happened while we referred Afrikaners. This because most Afrikaners are thought as Dutch descent/heritage. The Dutch labeling is done due to the colonization of the Netherlands and VOC in South Africa for more than one century. Because of that, many Afrikaner surnames are spelled and written in Dutch form. One of the surnames which are mistaken as Dutch are Viljoen which is actually derived from French surname Villion.

For years, we always mistaken Afrikaner surnames as Dutch due to name form in Dutch language which is the basis of Afrikaans, one of 11 national languages of South Africa. This thing is also happened on Hana Planckaert idoling scene. At first, Hana and most people though that most Afrikaners are coming from Dutch descent/heritage. But, actually the Afrikaners aren’t Dutch at all. This because Afrikaners are coming from different European countries, they’re the Netherlands, Flanders (present Belgium), France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. However, most Afrikaners are coming from the Netherlands, France and Germany.

This Dutch mistake is happened on Meintjes surname which is though as the Dutch surname due to phonological traits. We’ve been mistaken Meintjes as the Dutch surnames for years. Because of this, we referred Meintjes as Fake Dutch. Then, someone read genealogy website and knew that Meintjes is the German surname, not Dutch. After that, we realized that Meintjes is coming from an old German word. Aside of that, Meintjes is originated from Münsterland, a place in Rhine-North Westphalia, Germany.

After realizing that her surname is German, Debora which based on climber Louis Meintjes ordered German folk costume. Previously, she owned a hot pink Dutch folk costume which worn at various events. She had been wearing that costume for years. Then she sold her hot pink Dutch folk costume for good. Other Afrikaners in Visioneer world did the same after the surname origin revealing. From now, she would wear German folk costume as she comes from German descent, not Dutch.

The costume is bought on ZEPETO. All of the pictures are taken from ZEPETO.
